The Block Entertainment Studio is the newest recording studio in The Gambia’s music industry. It main objective is to promote and help Gambian artists by producing their arts works. Virtually, The Gambia is a country blessed with young talented artists but lack of support and financial constraints are hindering their efforts to see to the end of their journey. But this new studio is set restore and nurture the eroding hope in the industry and will walk extra mile to sell image of local artists at the international level. Mohammed Kah, better known by his sobriquet as Mo hawk, is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the studio. He is one of the lead vocalist of Da Fugitivz’s Crew, which is one of the most successful Gambian rap groups of recent times. As the CEO, he will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the new studio. Basically, the Block Entertainment Studio will provide quality services to the showbiz industry, thereby, contributing greatly to the socio-economic development of the country.

After two recent successful international gigs in Finland and Norway, Gambian rap star, Mo Hawk, is heading to Scotland for another gig that is tipped to be well attended. Rap and reggae music lovers in the Scottish capital of Glasgow are expected to converge at Club 30, on10th September to see the Gambian star alongside reggae musician Ras Askia.
