Hi, My name is Brooke. I am certified Matwork Pilates instructor who works 1:1 on with clients to achieve personal realistic goals. I can’t wait to share with you all in such a welcoming group environment over the next 8 weeks.

If you are unfamiliar or new to Pilates and what Matwork Pilates, Pilates is a form of exercise which focuses on Concentration, Centering, Breathing, Control, Precision, Flowing Movement, Isolation and Routine. Overall Pilates Increases Core Stability, Total body conditioning, Corrects muscle imbalances, Improves posture and Promotes functional movements all while using gravity as resistance. It is believed that as the body ages, poor posture and underdeveloped muscles could restrict daily movement and life. The focus of Pilates is to improve the functioning of the body in a lasting way. While Pilates can build muscular strength this can lead to improved ways of walking, running, playing and moving throughout the day.

Throughout my classes we will focus on firing up your Core while Toning the entire body, Strengthening and stretching exercises to help ease tight muscles, Improves flexibility, and reduce tension throughout the body.

These classes are beginner to intermediate so anyone is welcomed no pressure!!

It is advised if you are pregnant to not take these classes as it will be a workout class, not based off each individual. Please note this is a Workout Class not a 1:1 rehabilitation class.

What to bring: Wear comfortable clothing and bring your own water bottle, towel, and mat.
